Riser Cards
Rich riser cards provide scalability and flexibility to 1U or 2U systems when used in combination with Advantech industrial motherboards. If you plan on your chassis housing a motherboard computer design and less than four peripheral cards, riser cards can be implemented to enable a “butterfly” backplane arrangement. This way, you can keep the form factor down to the 1U or 2U size.
