Advantech’s APAX-5000 series is the new generation of PAC, integrating control, information processing, and networking in a single control system with a unique dual controller architecture and 100Mbps real-time local I/O bus speed, fulfilling the needs of mission-critical automation applications.

Aside from high performance controllers, the members of the APAX-5000 series also include various I/O modules, backplanes and power supply modules. APAX-5000 I/O modules have many attractive features to reduce effort, such as hot swap capability, high density ports, clamp type terminal blocks, ID switches, LEDs, writable labels with wiring information, and a flexible expansion topology.

Programmable Automation Controllers are designed for control tasks which require Industrial PC computing performance and a PLC's robustness. Its multiple functionalities include discrete, analog, and motion functions. Well-integrated programming tools and optional HMI software provide a flexible and easy-to-use software solution for versatile applications.

Advantech Building Automation Controllers include SoftLogic Digital Controllers and Expansion I/O Modules. These products allow users to take advantage of networking and gain real-time access to information from multiple resource segments in your building network, creating an “Intelligent Building.”
